Follow eleven small moves to turn a printed page into an eight-page zine. Start with a crisp crease and take it one motion at a time.

Fold it like you mean it.
The better your creases, the better your zine will turn out.

Turn and flip the sheet.
Rotate it 90 degrees counterclockwise, then flip it over along its long edge.

Fold the short way.
Bring the two short ends together. Press the crease firmly, then unfold the sheet again.

Rotate, fold the long way.
Turn the paper clockwise. Fold it in half the long way, sharpen the crease, and open it back out.

Bring both ends to the middle.
Turn the sheet counterclockwise, then fold each end inward until it meets the center crease.

Open, turn, and flip.
Open both ends. As you do, turn the sheet counterclockwise and flip it over the short edge. It should end up how you started.

Fold it, then turn it.
Fold the sheet in half and lift it off the table. Rotate the folded packet a quarter turn counterclockwise.

Make the cut.
Cut along the middle crease, from the folded edge to the centre of the paper. Don't go too far!

Turn and open.
Rotate the cut sheet back clockwise, unfold it, and lower it flat onto the table.

Fold and push.
Fold it in half the long way. Hold both ends and push them together, forming a plus sign.

Flatten and close.
Flatten the inside, then fold the stack around its spine. Press the covers closed, and you have your foldy zine!
